By Averil Staunton

A large collection of photographs has been very kindly shared with this site by Kevin McDarby, who was brought up on the Neale Road, Ballinrobe.   His father was the well known G.P., Dr. McDarby who was affectionaly known as Mac or Doc Mac by his patients.

This is a diverse selection of images of people, events and sites in Ballinrobe and gradually more will be added in due course.

We are very grateful for Kevin's dedication to preserving Ballinrobe's past and he can be said to have

"Captured it before it disappeared".
