People are invited to email a photograph, drawing, poem or story to highlight the heritage of Ballinrobe. It might be a local ring fort, an old bridge, a mill or church ruin, an old tower house, a lime kiln, an old water pump on your street, an interesting gate, an old doorway or a clip of a traditional song or story. If it means something to you it means a lot to us.

Heritage is everywhere and all around us, in old buildings and graveyards, streets and country lanes, fields, rivers and lakes, hedgerows and gardens, stories and songs. Heritage provides us with a sense of place and identity. It connects us with our roots and our community.

In difficult times it may help to remind us that this crisis will pass. Nature can be a source of joy and comfort in difficult times.
