A history of "The Gallaghers of Ballinrobe"

Below is a link to a free flip-book version of the family history my brother, Pat, and I have put together over the past year.

    The chapters try to tell the stories of Pat and Mary (Sheridan) Gallagher and their 12 children, who were raised in Cornaroya in the first part of the last century. They were not famous (or infamous), but we think their stories will be familiar to anyone whose heritage includes the West of Ireland. The chapters include more than 500 photos, maps and family trees.

    The book is mainly written for our children, nephews and nieces. But we hope the details from Ballinrobe and America hold some interest to others. As we say on the book's dust jacket, we apologize in advance for any inaccuracies when writing about Ireland from an ocean away.
