Ballinrobe's Historic Sites Walk

Walk took place on Wednesday 24th August 2011

Despite showers participants from Ballinrobe, Westport, Castlebar, Claremorris, Swinford, Roscommon, Germany and Galway enjoyed a walk and talk on some of the highlights of Ballinrobe's historic sites.

Members of the Ballinrobe Archaeological and Historical Society, who organised the event for Heritage Week and led the walk with Mr. Patsy Murphy, Mr. Wally Loughery and Mr. Tom Tiernan spontaneously contributing added interesting information.
